# Privacy

Short version: the tools work in your browser, nothing you type, pick or open is sent to us, and there are no accounts, ads or cookies.

## What the tools do with your data

- **Colors, names and answers** you enter are processed by scripts in the page, on your device. They are not sent to any server.
- **Photos** you open in the look generator or the undertone drape check are read by your browser to show them and to pick colors. They are never uploaded or saved, and they are gone when you close or reload the page.
- **Images and files you download** (palette PNGs, swatch boards, palette backup files) are created in your browser.
- The site makes no network requests of its own while you use the tools, and it loads no fonts, scripts or images from other websites.

## What is stored on your device

Petal Glimmer uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to a server, for these items only:

- `pg-theme`: your light or dark theme choice, if you pick one.
- `pg-draft`: the palette you are working on in the palette maker, so it is still there next time.
- `pg-palettes`: palettes you choose to save.
- `pg-handoff`: a look you send from the look generator to the palette maker; it is removed as soon as the palette maker opens it.
- `pg-lipboard`: the shades and settings of your lipstick swatch board.

You can delete saved palettes with “Delete all” in the palette maker, reset the swatch board with “Reset”, or remove everything by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Petal Glimmer sets no cookies.

## Analytics and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. It uses **Cloudflare Web Analytics**, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, pick or open in the tools. As with any website, Cloudflare handles the technical request data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address and browser type, under its own privacy policy.

## Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, including our sister sites and the two services in the footer. Those sites have their own privacy practices; nothing from Petal Glimmer is passed to them when you follow a link, apart from the usual information your browser sends with any link.
